Our History

Formerly known as Marble City Brewing Company (2010-2012), our name changed to Saw Works Brewery in the year 2012. Making us Knoxville, Tennessee’s first ever microbrewery. The brewery is located in the heart of downtown Knoxville Warehouse District on Depot Street. Many things have changed over the years, but our companies commitment to brewing traditional microbrews has not! In 2014, Saw Works won gold for our Brown Ale and bronze for our Rocky Hop IPA at the Tennessee Championship of Beers and thus began our rapid growth in popularity throughout the Knoxville area. In September 2015, we began canning our Flagship Brews and expanded from East Tennessee. Packaged Saw Works is now available in stores throughout the state of Tennessee. We have some of the highest sell through rates amongst craft breweries at all Kroger, Wal-Mart, and Food City Stores in the Knoxville market. With over 200 tap handles in service among Knoxville taverns, restaurants, and craft beer markets, Saw Works has become an easy favorite in the brewing industry of Tennessee!

A Chicago transplant, Adam came to Knoxville in 2009 to help build the craft beer scene. He has developed an affinity for the beautiful Southeast surroundings and often wonders why he didn‘t move sooner. As President of the company, Adam‘s primary mission is to ensure that all blades are sharp and spinning in the right direction. Adam has a degree in Economics and spent over 10 years learning manufacturing operations while working alongside his dad at Industrial Enclosure Corporation. When he isn‘t out building the Saw Works brand he enjoys spending time with his wife and daughter, being outside with his dogs, and spending time flying.
